Q. Why should I put my information with DIS?
A. You will have a complete back up of all of your important belongings with receipts and pictures. Also, you can load documents such as Wills, Trusts etc.
Q. Why don't I just type my inventory and print, then put in my safe?
A. Very simple answer is in case of theft, fire or natural disaster your safe is probably not going to survive. Remember that a good safe can cost thousands of dollars and has limited storage volume. You can pay for 16 years of processing with DIS instead of paying $1,000 for a safe, which probably will not do the job.
Q. Why not just put all of my listings of belongings, receipts, pictures in my safety deposit box?
A. DIS is cheaper than a safety deposit box and DIS provides you have the capability to continually update your records. With DIS you can update you records or add new records 24 by 7 and retrieve you loaded information 24 by 7. With any other form of storing your information, the process of keeping records updated is time consuming and difficult to stay current.
